Re: flatline for LAPCO bigshot...

I'd say if both barrels were brand new, the FL costs more, so moneywise he would get a better deal. I don;t like flatlines, and the lapco is a solid barrel, so you are getting a better valued trade... All in all I'd say offer a straight up trade it would be fair, if n e thing he should give you 5 or 10 bucks.

Re: flatline for LAPCO bigshot...

I'm with the dude above. F/L retails for like $90, Lapco bigshot is like $50. If anyone is getting screwed might be you. But, that your choice.

Re: flatline for LAPCO bigshot...

And I agree with the last two posts. If he wants a FL, he is making out in the deal, cost wise. Now, for performance? My money is on Bigshot, especially Apex Ready. Go for it.

Re: flatline for LAPCO bigshot...

I don't know about that.. When I started modding my marker I bought a flatline right off of the bat for my 98C.. Yeah it shot further then everyone else, but with out fine tuning its inaccurate distance... You can get a paint down range and get it to travel at the same height yes, but each ball deviates left or right considerable, making you fire slowly and correct, watching the balls float( I did n e way) As for if someone gets close to you, the flatline will float paint over thier heads while you get elimenated. The flatline CAN be VERY accurate, but it takes the right weather conditions, paint to bore match, and regulated output pressure (stab or HPA)... I think the flatty can be a good barrel with work, but I feel that you can put a straight barrel on your marker, gain cocsistancy, loose a little distance, and have fun not worrying about your barrel working that day... Also the APEX tip on a nice barrel is way better woodsball barrel then a flatline.
