I have a BT M16 with Apex barrel and i want to improve the accuracy of my marker. I was going to ditch the apex for now and buy a palmer's brass barrel- 10-12 inch, single ported with black powder coat. I was wondering if anyone has put the parts from the BT M16 on one of these? I want to keep the look but upgrade the barrel.

Yes my girlfriend has done this. You'll need to use the tape mod on the tip of your palmers barrel so you can attach the apex. You can search the site for it, I've seen one here before or x7og.

You might need a dremmel as well because the front sight just fits in there and you have to shave off the bottom part of the tiny rail where you'd normally put a flashlight, and also the very front part of the sight where there's a small line in the middle sticking out. You'll know what to shave off once you start putting it together.

Are you talking about running the shroud on the barrel? I would think that the shroud would fit with little or no mods done to it.

yeah, i was curious if it would fit. i plan on getting nylon set screws so i dont mess up the barrel.
