I noticed a couple of very tiny scratches near one corner of my Apex ramp today and remembered hearing that they can cause problems. Usually its caused by shooting through a break. Rather than replace it, I thought I would take a stab at fixing it. I grabbed some 2000 grit sandpaper, put a drop of oil on the ramp, and sanded it smooth. Wiped it clean, rinsed with water, and wiped again the and the scratches were gone.

Is this not a good idea to do for all repairs on the ramp? I would assume it would be fine as long as the scratches or nicks aren't too deep.

I had the same problem, but mine were to too deep to fix. I read somewhere as long as you dont change the angle of the ramp, by sanding to much it should be ok. Contact bt they will send you a new ramp for free then you will have a back up. info@btpaintball.com

I finally got my new apex rubber ramp. It took like over a month to get here but hey at least I got it in the end... I should have asked for two...

Anyway good customer service. Got it for free, I also asked a question and they didn't reply but I don't care right now as my question was answered, even though it was in a weird way.
