I just put a Lapco Fake Suppressor on my Lapco Bigshot barrel. The suppressor covers the porting holes on the barrel so the barrel will now vent into the space formed between the suppressor and the barrel.

Does anyone know what impact this will have, if any, on distance, accuracy etc?

Absolutely no effects at all. I used to run the Suppressor on my Bigshots and there is honestly no change in anything, including sound. My son has been running it for a while now, because it helps protect the barrel from dings, but it does nothing else.
