Re: witch barrel

For another opinion, you could always go with a Freak or Freak Jr system. You can get a basic freak jr for $60. Then you can add parts to your barrel when you get more money.

Re: witch barrel

I just ordered a JJ Edge Elite kit after reading a lot of good things about it. 3 fronts and 5 backs really will have anyone covered. I got it for $84

LVP south and the Army Navy store I think you're talking about are really close to me. 25 minutes to LVP and 15 to Army Navy. I've been wanting to hit up the Army Navy place, how is the selection in there? I'm not a fan of LVP south's products, I feel that they are mostly speedball.

Did you know there is a paintball/fishing shop on Germantown Pike? Right before the Collegeville Bridge. You park in the same parking lot as the Dominos right there. They seem to be mostly about speedball and that kind of thing but they have pretty nice stuff.

Re: witch barrel

A Witch Barrel? Does it come with complementary broom stick and pointy hat/mask?? People hit with it, naturally, turn into newts. But they get better. I'd recommend instead of the Witch Barrel, some manner of Hammerhead kit. Hit up SideShow, and he'll price one out for you if your interested. I have a 5 fin CF Sharktooth kit, and I LOVE THE HECK out of it.

Re: witch barrel

If you want distance and accuracy, then get a PPS Brass barrel with an Apex tip.

Re: witch barrel

I bought my J&J elite kit at hustlepaintball.com for around $80. It is the new verion tips to allow for the Apex adapter. I would recommend a kit if you have to use field paint and bounce from field to field. If you always using the same paint get a one piece barrel that matches up well to the paint you use after it has been outside all day. In the morning you'll be overbored but in the afternoon you wont be breaking paint like crazy. The J&J's do a pretty good job of self cleaning but I would look into the palmers brass...they are all the hype for a reason I'm sure. Order from a regionally local company and you'll have it next day or a couple days.
