| Re: Apex and porting I might be able to help you in the future... I'm considering getting the lapco apex ready barrel 12". The J&J works great just doesn't aid a "heavy gunner".

While I do appreciate the offer, the Lapco barrel has a ring of muzzle ports - as do most barrels which people attach Apexes to. Duct tape over porting simply isn't an accurate enough measure.
