any one ever used the hammerhead front on a freak kit looking into buying a barrel kit and this would really help my ste up because i can use the apex tip with my freak front and also have the benifits of the hammerhead without buying two barrel kits. if anyone has any info it would be greatly appreciated

well having a apex on a hammerhead pretty much destroys the purpose of the hammerhead... the hammerhead is made to make the ball spin ... if you put the apex on the front it will just spin it again and cancel the hammerhead's spin... Instead you should get the freak kit... it has way more inserts!

So im confused, you asked if any one ever used the hammerhead front on a freak kit. So are you buying the hammerhead front or fins? But you say you have the apex front, so you'd need the fins....

I run a hammerhead pro tip on my freak kit and am amazed! This is the primary set up on my ion an can out distance any flateline or apex. Only problem is that it is pricey.

i just wanted to know if the hammerhead front works well with the freak kit or is it just better to buy the hammerhead kit, moneys not a problem, i also have an apex barrel and would like the option of using it sometimes instead of the hammerhead(friend gave me an apex ready freak front but dont have the kit yet) but dont want to buy two barrel kits, and im not so stupid to think you can put the apex on the hammerhead thats just dumb. so basicly just want to know if the hammerhead front performs well on the freak kit

yes it would work, it is not as good as owning a actual hammerhead 14" barrel but it still works better then a freak or AA tip

i am not sure about the range about the HH freak tip, but my HH barrel kit shot farther then my flat line and almost as far as a apex but with deadly accuracy.

If money is no option I would recommend the hammerhead kit (bang stixx or battle stixx) because: better accuracy, looks better, better range, plus its very light (~2.8 oz)

like fonz said money no option then he would loss us of the apex tip if he only had a Hammerhead kit. I still like the option of changing the tip depending on the situation i.e. hammerhead for accurate shoots long range, apex for trick shoots and 1.5" white wolf for the CQB. But this is all just my setup.

Get the hammerhead SHARKTOOTH front, and it SHOULD work on a freak back, plus your not forced with a stupid long barrel as the sharktooth front is only approx 5 1/2 - 6 inches
