| Re: Palmers Brass w/ APEX tip Yes, I have one on my Palmer Brass. My brother has one on his JJ. Activating the Apex tip will lower accuracy slightly, but it's still going to perform a little better than the stock Apex barrel; plus you get all the extra distance. You can also always turn off the Apex mode and have all of the full original benefits of the new barrel. Either on or off, you will gain some improvement with the new barrel. | Re: Palmers Brass w/ APEX tip I have the Apex on the Palmer Brass. The Apex does not affect the accuracy if it is turned off, however, whenever you turn it on, there will always be a loss of accuracy. That is the tradeoff... you can have accuracy or distance, but not both. That said, the Apex mounted to the Palmer is way more accurate than the barrel that comes stock with the Apex. Also, if you click the Apex up to 5 or 6 instead of all the way up, that improves your accuracy quite a lot and you still get pretty long range. I usually reserve the Apex for long shots when I'm going to lay down paint... if you barage someone with 10bps+, you're going to get a hit if you shoot enough paint, no matter how accurate or inaccurate the barrel is. For close range shots, I usually click the Apex completely off so I can rely on the accuracy of the Brass.
