Waffles, dude. I ran out of breath before I finished your one sentence. Puncuation can be your friend. I don't speel 2 gud sumtimes but google toolbar has a spellchecker.

As far as teflon, I don't think its durable enough to withstand thousands of paintballs rubbing against it in mostly the same place every time. Brass is a self lubricating metal and it seems to be like teflon for a paintball shell.

My advice? Buy a palmers brass barrel (starting at $45) then experiment with the teflon on your stock barrel and keep us informed. You will see lots of wacky seeming ideas out here that turn out very interestingly.

LMAO...sorry I thought it was funny. I'm glad I'm not the only one that noticed.
I agree with Pumbaa get the Brass if you don't have one already and keep us posted if you do the teflon experiment. Good luck.

Re: teflon barrel idea

Well, i do get micropowdered PTFE i use a special diffusing agent and cook it to fix it, i got most internal parts treated and the barrel inside too. So far it seems to hold good, but as you know, everything slips from teflon, but teflon will also slip off everything!

Re: teflon barrel idea

sorry about that...i hae goten use to typing fast but not with good Puncuation. Ssteph yea the applying was the only problem with teflon but didnt think of it slowly going away. also didnt know brass was self lubricating was planning on buying one once i start my new job.
Thanks for the info.
Might try it on my old stock barrel latter in the week

Re: teflon barrel idea

How about just spraying the barrel with PAM cooking spray!
