That's not necessarily true. When I contacted them, they said single porting was more accurate that unported. This is why I bought a single ported barrel.

From what I've heard, it depends on which Palmer you talk to... I suppose there can't be much difference if they can't agree on it.

I would strongly suggest .685

I get better groupings when I have a good paint to bore match. When my paint to bore match is poor, my groupings open up. I have stuffed every type of paint down the bore, even paint that had to be "assisted" by force into the barrel. No breaks.
