I did a little test of my own. It's not perfect, but it shows a potential real world situation.

Ya, most engagements take place between 10-100 feet....
and of course I'm going to go with the Lapco on this one....

I say LAPCO as well due to personal experiance. I have yet to use a Palmers Brass so I can't really vote on them but I have used the other barrels.

From what I know of the Apex and Flat line barrels yes they do give you the range. But they lack shot to shot consistency. As for the choices in the poll I don't use any of them. I run CMI barrels. Everyone goes on about them being too long and not efficient, But I don't care about CO2 usage when they get an excellent pattern through all the different distances that I shoot. That and for the MilSim look they are great too.

I actually find that at distances over, say 110 feet, the Apex is actually more accurate than a standard barrel. I have yet to do an actual test on this theory, but it's at the very least very very close to being just as accurate as a standard barrel at long range.

I am using smart parts all american and it is very accurate.

Keep in mind that the barrel alone does not determine accuracy. On different markers, with different setups, barrels may react differently.
