Most accurate?

Which barrel would you say is most accurate at a range of 100 feet?

Re: Most accurate?

Well, none of these barrels are accurate at 200'. The effective range of any of the above is up to 150' tops. Try an Apex or Flatline barrel for added range.

Re: Most accurate?

Ok sure, no offence, but can you get your paintballs to fly that far with a regular barrel? I personally cannot unless I'm using my Apex and Palmers combo.

Re: Most accurate?

No, a standard barrel will not go out to 200ft on a chrono-safe marker. Only a flatline, Apex, or another "ramping" barrel will do that. Like Rifle said, the most you will probably get out of the barrels available for selection in your poll are about 145-150ft range.

However, all the barrels you have added to your poll are very good selections, once you have it narrowed down that far, it all comes down to personal preference. Most accurate relies on you, the user of the barrel, and the type of paintballs you are using.

Re: Most accurate?

no, I put 200 just because I wanted to know what barrel people would say shot farther than and more accurate. and these barrels are the most popular one piece barrels, In my oppinion.

Re: Most accurate?

Most linear barrels shoot about the same range, which is about 150 feet. Unless using a Flatline or an Apex. The ones you have in your poll will all shoot about the same range, and accuracy with a good paint-to-barrel match. The differences will mostly be appearance, sound, texture, build, weight, ease on paint, material and price.

Re: Most accurate?

The Apex or Flatline barrels are the only two that will reach those type of ranges (250 feet). There is debate over which is more accurate. Try searching for Apex and Flatline in the forum search and I'm sure there'll be a few comparisons.

Re: Most accurate?

Here's a link to a guy that actually tried performing a barrel accuracy test:
Paintball Barrel Test - PbNation

I hope that helps.
