| Wild West Scenario in Bowie,MD WILD WILD WEST Our 31st Scenario Game Sunday, August 3, 2008 Utilizing the format that has made our scenarios so successful, we have added even more missions and props, as well as a larger prize package. Prizes will be drawn and awarded all day long, but we will give-away at least $500 in prizes at the beginning of the safety briefing. The Storyline OK, you varmints, pay attention. Wyoming Territory, home of the first United States National Park -Yellowstone - became our nation's 44th state in 1890. Two years later, life here in Johnson County seems peaceful and prosperous. But trouble's a brewin', friends. As you all know, the large cattle ranches are organized as the Wyoming Stock Growers Association (WSGA), known socially as the Cheyenne Club after the town where they meet regularly. The smaller ranchers can barely get by, and the big cattle barons accuse them of stealing cattle and horses. Thems fightin' words! Why, rumor is the WSGA has Johnson County Sheriff Frank M. Canton on their side, and he led some lynchings of folks accused of being cattle and horse rustlers. Now we got a full-scale war in Johnson County since both sides have sent for hired gun slingers, including ? some say ? the Hole in the Wall Gang. Now we got renegade Injuns, Mexican banditos, Pinkerton Detectives, and skilled gunmen of every persuasion finding their way to Johnson County. The whole country is reading the weekly newspapers for the lurid details of carnage and corruption. Cattle baron Jonas C. Redd hired Sheriff Frank M. Canton to lead the WSGA expedition into Johnson County to clean out, once and for all, the homesteaders and small ranchers organized by Phineas McBlue. McBlue, they say, hired notorious outlaw Nate Champion and his "Blue Sash Gang" to defend their land and water rights. They all seem headed for a showdown at the TA Ranch that was built almost like a wood fort. Now we hear that the governor sent a telegraph plea to President Harrison to send U.S. troops to prevent a slaughter. Supposedly, the famous "Buffalo Soldiers" of the 9th Cavalry Regiment are on their way. This will be a fight to end all fights! Saddle up, boys. There's only one way to end this feud.
