Re: Oklahoma D-day 2008 - Allied Recruiting

Unit registration is open until April 15. If you haven't registered, do it now. If you have registered, get your friend, teammate or relative to register. The 82nd Pathfinders are full, the 82nd isn't much farther behind.

1) If you've registered I need to hear from you if want to be with certain people or in a certain Regiment. srisken623@aol.com

2) Join the Allied Forum if you haven't done so yet. http://ddayallies.8.forumer.com/

3) Fill out the Allied questionnaire. It only takes a minute and it's a big help in getting us organized. http://ddayallies.8.forumer.com/viewtopic.php?t=239

4) Sign up and register for a SUTAL course. We're using SUTAL and the mini games as part of our training regiment. So when you're signing up for SUTAL be sure it's opposite the mini game schedule. The mini games are in the afternoon on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and in the morning on Thursday. One Shepherd

Re: Oklahoma D-day 2008 - Allied Recruiting

For those who were too busy plowing snow or dealing with their taxes, the cut off for picking units has now passed, but there's no reason to cry because you can still call in and 'request' the unit of your choice. Odds are still good you'll get your wish, but the closer you get to May 15th, the lower those odds will become. Take my advice and call this week.

Sincerely,

Re: Oklahoma D-day 2008 - Allied Recruiting

Sory about that, it acured to me to check the web site after i asked.

So, what should I expect to encounter with the obstical coarse? I've been in the ARMY and they very alot from coarse to corse.

I would like to get into an airborne path finder unit, I almost joined one for real, but I met my wife and prioretys changed. I don't know if requesting the position and passing the obstical coares are enough or is it a role of the dice?

The o-course is very much like the confidence course in BCT (if they're still doing it).

Re: Oklahoma D-day 2008 - Allied Recruiting

Over on the 1st Exp forces (Allied) forum, there is a great need for marching band members for the Welsh Guard Band.

I was also talking about a Pipe and Drum Corps for the CanScot Regiment and Parade processional as well.

It seems it is very difficult for Sir Raymond to get the needed members and is asking for some help.

If you are capable, or know fellow ballers who are going that are, please refer them to these links and lend a hand!

Thanks!
