| Note: This is a review I have written over the past few days over at MilSimEmpire. Well the Fedex guy delivered the TM7 this morning, and needless to say I like it. It shoots and feels great and the parts kit and all of that is a nice addition to any marker. Programming the TM7 is really easy, and the user manual is very descriptive. The gun has nice short pop to it when it fires, but not a boom that you can find in most inline blowback style markers. I would say the pop is as loud as that of a T8 (maybe quieter) but the action seems faster and thus the pop is quicker. So running in behind a line of bad guys and putting one ball on each player should go relatively unnoticed in a firefight. Also, I like the stock and vertical grip. The stock is solid, I only noticed a very small bit of wobble when its fully extended, but I could not feel the wobble when it was shouldered at this position. Having broke many stocks before, I have a feeling that this stock will be strong enough to take a lot of abuse. Also, checking out the body of the TM7, a person will really have to go to town on it to break anything. The overall structure of the body is very solid and dont foresee any problems with cracking or breaking (the side rails seem to be the weakest, but are still mounted on the body solidly). It honestly could probably be run over by a car and still work, however, that test never made sense to me since you will be playing paintball with it and not trying to smash it under the heaviest object you have access too. Now a few things I didn't like, first thing I noticed was the selector switch is more rubber than the composite you find on the body. This immediately warned me as a weak piece, however, they may have made it flexible to be more durable if that makes sense. Either way Ill be careful with that piece, but it may be stronger than it feels. Next the trigger has a slightly squishy pull, its most definitely pull able but not as snappy as other triggers Ive used. Now you can adjust the trigger pull, so I don't know if that can be fixed by the user. Overall, I really do like what Ive seen of the TM7. The problems I've noticed seem they could be fixed with future upgrades and for the price I totally recommend it for what you get. Once I get some games in with it Ill post up further updates here. Here are some pics: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() and the guts... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Taking apart the TM-7 was not too bad, however, the this process would have been so, so, so, much simpler if they made the wiring harness connectors bigger. I have no idea why the made the connectors and wires so small and honestly it pissed me off (I can also promise that this will be a problem and BT will have a lot of players sending their guns in to have the wires reconnected). I would say that this is the only flaw on this marker that I have noticed so far and I hope in future versions of the TM7 have tougher wiring run. Other than that though, taking apart the TM7 is very simple and easy to do. As seen by the pics above, you can pretty much tell that there is not many parts at all and maintenance just involves replacing any worn o-rings and applying lube on them. Maintenance would have scored a 8 to 9 out of 10, however, because of the wiring, I would give it a 7. There is more than enough room in the body to utilize larger and stronger wiring and connections. That being said, I did shoot it more today and loved the way it shot. The barrel isnt the most accurate barrel out there, but for the most part what I shot at I was hitting. Also, note that I wasnt using great paint either (Visible Impact). So I would say the barrel scores above average. Overall, Im still very happy with my purchase and cant wait to add a Rip Clip to it. Current Settings: Firing Mode: Recreational (5) Rate of Fire: 16bps (12) Dwell: Default Value (28) Ball In Place: 7ms (7) Ramping Point: Default Value (4) Burst Shots: Default Value (3) | ||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Re: Bt Tm-7 I am seriously looking forward to the TM 7.. I am although concerned on it's... eerie similarity to a "speedball" *cough* *cough* marker.. Of course this may very well be a good merger into more sophisticated markers like this one for all those hardcore Tippmann and BT fans like myself. Xydefall |

| Re: Bt Tm-7 Dont worry about the mini internals. Had they not said it was based off of the mini and was just a new electro-pneumatic woodsball marker, a lot of the hardcore woodsball people wouldnt worry about it. The new Tippmann pistol is a good example of what I'm talking about. Either way, the Mini internals are of good design and should be a worthy woodsball operating system. |

| Re: Bt Tm-7 I wanted to ask about hte strap holders you have at the front and back of the body, of the gun, did that come with the gun, or did you add those, and if you added them where can I get some from and how are they attached to the gun thanks |
