| I have to say, this tank is awesome. I'll go ahead and outline a few advantages of this tank; light, holds a lot of air, pretty cheap at 170$, and very small. I believe this is one of Crossfire's new tanks and I have been told the new ones are a bit smaller than the old ones. Weight The tank is a bit on the heavier side compared to some other smaller tanks, but what do you expect with a 70ci tank? If you do think this tank is a bit too heavy then you probably need to hit the gym or your marker needs a drop-forward. Remember, ergonomics are everything, and if weight is well distributed it is much easier to handle something. Size This tank is so much smaller than my friends 72ci steely tank. It fits nicely into your armpit and lets you get really tight in with your gun. Getting in tight really helps me keep all my shots in the same spot to. In addition to helping accuracy the small size of the tanks gives your opponents a little less to hit, and, as we all know, paintball is a game of inches. Performance Other than a few weird shots at the beginning of a bit of target practice this tanks is very consistent, and can hold a lot of air. I should easily be able to shoot an entire case with my A5 with only two fills. Impressions/Conclusions After testing thins tank I am impressed. I see no reason anybody would want a different tank. This tank is small and gives me more than enough air to shoot a good amount of paint around my house and at the field. If you find yourself needing a new tank I suggest you look at Crossfires new line of tanks, because you wont be disappointed. Pictures ![]() ![]()

| Re: My review of a 70/4500 Crossfire stubby tank... I've been considering this tank for a long time. Quick question- the cylinder is it TC and DOT certifed or just DOT? |

TC is what Canadians use right? If so, I think all Crossfire tanks are DOT only. I'll check for a TC though. edit: Sorry, the tank is not TC certified. I can't find any TC numbers on the tank, but you may want to call up Crossfire and ask them if they make these tanks with a TC certification. Last edited by wilonpill : 06-06-2007 at 01:52 PM.

Thanks man. Guys, I just got the tank back from the shop and it still blows the 1800PSi disk. Looks like I'll be sending it back to Crossfire.

Mine did the same thing, so I sent it to Crossfire first thing. I got it back this morning and it seems fine. Just swapping out the burst disc won't help anything (I'm guessing that's what the guys in the shop did). Apparently, it's caused by an internal o-ring failure or whatever Crossfire calls it. I've done this with two different tanks now, and they've both come back problem-free. Well, minus the fact that the first one was recalled. ![]() I've found it to be a great tank, provided you can get it working first. ![]()
