hey guys at my school if you have a rubberband you get 5 licks from the paddel and if you have a hornet it doubles to 10 licks and today i had to get 2 licks form the paddel do you think paddeling is nessecierey for the kids to be taught a lesson or is it just a punishment give me your verdict about paddeling

I'm a firm believer in corporal punishment when properly meted out......but that's not important now (tee hee). I'm not really understanding your post. Are you saying that if you're caught with a rubberband in your possession at your school they'll swat ya?

a peice of paper folded to be shot out of the rubberband but i wasnt shooting them and i got 2 licks

Yeah, that may suck but if them's the rules...them's the rules. If I believed in that in public schools anymore and put my children in one where they did that, I'd tell my son to suck it up and take the licks. Sorry to hear you got swatted though. I'm sure that was no fun.

that rule wasnt in effect when i got my licks it was after my licks

I almost fell out my chair on that one! Sorry. So, you're a trailblazer. Setting the standard. If that wasn't the rule prior to you paddling then I would call that unfair. Unless you were paddled for a different reason and catching you with the "goods" was just icing on the cake. Anywho, tomorrow's another day.

Well I can't say what he was thinking on the first quote..( But I can guess)

But as for - Tomorrow is another day means you learn from you mistakes and every thing that happen yesterday is over move on and make better decisions.. Or you can get caught again with another rubber band and hornets and get swatted again... Its your choice..
