| Re: What's your GAS PRICE up to - and the location?!! I know you asked for GAS prices........ 141.9/L for Diesel yesterday- Surrey/Vancouver BC -the most I have paid in my life. 30% of it is taxes absolute, greed from the CDN government. Diesel is supposed to be cheaper than gas, but the excuse is the price of sulfer has gone up - it's still total BS. plus now we get a carbon tax, gas it's suppose to hit $1.60/L ![]() but we all get a $100 check from the BC government to make it sting a little less. but like most locals we will boogey over to Bellingham WA and get the gas there.

| Re: What's your GAS PRICE up to - and the location?!! Gas prices are high and will continue to sky rocket because it is the most profitable business in the world. There are technologies out there where fuel/oil is not needed for energy. We still dont use it nor does the government encourages companies or anyone for that matter to do so or even reasearch further because i say again oil is the most profitable business in the world period. |

We actually get very little oil from the Middle East. Most of the oil we get is from Canada. We do alot of selling back and fourth of the oil product while its in various stages of production. Why? who knows really I don't know much about that and it makes little sense to me. But oil prices are impacted by every aspect of the market. We pump our own oil, sell to Canada, then buy it back and vise versa. Rather idiotic but there must be a reason that I will have to google for later ![]() Just the mere thought of having more oil on the marker, someone else producing more oil will lower the prices. How much? I think we should all forget about the days when gas was under $2 per gallon but 2.50-3.00 could be more realistic. Again, this would not be permanent as in a a few years prices will go back up. This is not a permanent solution, its buying us TIME which we badly need at this point. How many of you can afford to see gas go up another 50 cents or a dollar or more over the next 2 years? I know I can't afford that. We need to be thinking about all this while certain politicians are telling us lies and pumping false promises at us. Cutting tha gas tax for a while isn't going to do squat. Estimates are around 5-10 cents per gallon...thanks Who is going to get us out of this gas/dollar value crisis? Look at the facts and its easy to see who isn't. Some of them want to raise taxes, print/borrow more money sending inflation higher and higher while sinking us deeper and deeper. Those are the same ones that are keeping us from drilling for more oil and they need to be unseated from their respected positions in Congress. Sure, it will still take 5-7 years for a drop of that oil to actually hit the marker because of all the construction needed. Funny thing is that we could be seeing that oil right now had we done this 5-7 years ago...when the President appealed to congress and to the country to pursue this. |

| Re: What's your GAS PRICE up to - and the location?!! The federal tac was suppose to be lifted during this summer. From what I hear your total savings for the entire summer will roughly average out to about $30 for the entire summer. Which isn't helping very much as all. They wonder why the encomony is sinking down into a hole. Its because it costs me $40 to fill my tank with 10-11 gallons of gas that lasts a week. That is roughly $200 a month in gas. This is just using regular. I feel bad for all the high octane or gas guzzling cars out there. I'm averaging about 20-25 mpg in my sports compact. I've gone as far as consider hybrid once I can afford one. Alternative fuel sources are viable because of the costs it would take to retro fit all gas stations with the new fuel source. Hydrogen is also a difficult element to process and takes a lot of energy to do so. I'm sure many have heard ethanol as a viable new fuel source, but then the issues of cost of food will go up. Prices of corn will go up. Considering over 75% of our corn goes to the meat industry, will result in meat prices sky rocketing since farmers will want to get paid the same from oil companies as they are from animal farms. All corn farmers will want to switch to processig animal feed to fuel production. I think there are 2 counties in CA have been an experiemental test for Honda's new car. | Re: What's your GAS PRICE up to - and the location?!! I pump gas on the cheapest gas station i have found around where i live and special is already 4.02 i think. Didnt look at the regular. I dont even want to see the price on Chevron or Shell. Im definetly thinking of getting myself a bike again, to like go to work, gym, and other places where i really dont need a car, and only use the car when is raining or going out depending on the place. Or we could all do like CUBA and start using bicycles hahaha j/k |
