| Re: PIF Special 002 I had a list of what I have, It didn't take so I'll redo it. We could start #003 w/ what I have. One thing is a barrel adaptor 20" J&J barrel Airhog grips macroline folding stock, needs RVA adaptor 20 oz, chro-molly tank Jet click set up sight set x2 fr. grip stock cyclone parts hammer rear plate power tube (minus FVA screw) A5 ASA 98 ASA spring braided line tombstone adaptor w/line (not the tombstone itself) DOP reg. I'd like to suggest selling some parts to offset shipping costs and such. ![]()

| Re: PIF Special 002 I think the reason the second build would finish so quick is because of the fact that everyone was ready for it. People knew what parts they had to donate before it even started. I don't see it as a bad thing. |

| Re: PIF Special 002 Re we still aiming for one PIF every 6 months? As in, PIF002 is for December delivery? OR - we have 3 options: 1) Slow down and make PIF002 for December like we planned - make what we need to and roll parts over to PIF003. If any parts are left for PIF003, post them in the PIF charity thread (I don't think it would be right to sell what was donated...) and start over from scratch for parts for PIF004. 2) Make 3 - do PIF002 quick because of the head start, then make PIF003 in time for December/Christmas. 3) Make PIF002 AND PIF003 in time for Christmas - 002 has a head start, so 003 is still possible within that time frame... I'm OK either way... --TAG-- |

| Re: PIF Special 002 As I recall, the primary reason for nixxing the idea to sell or raffle 001 was that Tippmann and other contributors understood the marker would go to a specific recipient. That is true for everyone who contributed those parts. I also see these parts as being too valuable to just sell off - it took a long time to get everything. Personally, I'd rather pony up some cash to help cover shipping costs.

| Re: PIF Special 002 If I am correct I think there were also some kind of legal issues to do with raffles and charities.I also don't mind having to spend a couple bucks to ship something its no big deal.I think that if people want to contribute they can and we can just use what ever people donate on other builds.I would be willing to hold what ever we get and then ship to whom ever is going to do the next build.I don't know what dose everyone else think? |

| Re: PIF Special 002 As I understood this, the whole point was to get these custom markers into the hands of a deserving recipient who was not able to buy their own setup for whatever reason.... to allow them to play more paintball. Granted, there are plenty of worthwhile charities out there, but there is no specific "paintball" charity that I am aware of. I say keep it simple and give it to a contributor elected winner based on member nominations. To help more people get into the sport of paintball. If we have so many generous members who are willing to contribute, Awesome! put the duplicate items in a box labelled 003 or 004 etc. and we have a great headstart on the next one. There is nothing set in stone that says it has to be every 6 months..... if there is enough stuff to build a complete marker in 3 months, do it then, if it takes 8 then so be it..... the most important thing is that it needs to stay fun for all involved. I do think it's important to keep it at one at a time though, so as not to "steal the thunder" from one or the other..... each one of these projects is special in their own right and each deserves it's full time in the spotlight!
