the A5OG PIF Special Project

002 and 003 of the A5OG Pay It Forward Special Project are now officially underway! We’re continuing the team effort to collectively build a special A-5 and do something meaningful with it.

This thread is where we’ll build future PIF Specials and decide where they go. Last time around took months and months, and used so many different threads that keeping track of the current status was difficult at best, both for those involved and those interested. We’re going to do this one a bit differently:

• One thread, with a structure that allows us to see what’s happening at all times.
  • The opening post carries general information.
  • 2nd post holds the status what we have and what we need.
  • 3rd post contains shipping info, where parts should be sent for each project.
    
  • 4th post is for where is the current project going: a compilation of the ideas and suggestions for what we’ll do with this one, the decision when it’s finalized.
  • 5th post is reserved for just-in-case we need another.
  • The rest of the thread is open to all PIF Special communications - comments, ideas & suggestions, commitments, whatever. As we move along, I’ll pull from all of this to update the first few posts.

We already have exciting news for 002. Since this is a team effort, rather than spewing all of it out right here, I’m asking those who have made commitments already to post up, tell us what you got or want to do.

Everyone, share you thoughts and suggestions about this. We set a nice standard with 001, now let’s go about doing it again and again.
