Don't Know UK customs, importing stuff

I'm thinking about buying an eGrip and trigger package from the USA (I'm in the UK) Has anyone here ever got paintball items from abroad and had any issue or extra charges?

Re: UK customs, importing stuff

Im not sure but i dont think it should be a problem. Once they send you something is ready to get to you. The only thing that could happen is that it might take a little longer than normal but i guess that would be the only thing. Anyways like i said im not sure, my advice is to call the people who you are buying from and ask them directly.

Re: UK customs, importing stuff

I'm not really bothered about the time scale as I'd be saving about £70, thats about $140!

So thats good I suppose.

Re: UK customs, importing stuff

No we are in the Us. I didn't know it was that big of a difference. I figured an international ship is an international ship. My bad for even mentioning it.

Re: UK customs, importing stuff

You will have to pay import duty and VAT on it if you buy it from a store. The only way to get around the duty and VAT is to have someone you know in the US buy it for you and send it as a gift, but only if the declared value is under 34 pounds. Here is all the info you need from HM Revenue & Customs: Click Me.

Re: UK customs, importing stuff

Also from the uk! somtimes you get lucky and other times thay smash with customs duty! My friend who regularly buys from the USA, 8/10 times he doesnt have to pay. i guess you should go for it and keep your fingers crossed.
Before I am asked there is nothing dodgy about it somtimes they get through others they get stopped.
