In my 4 years of playing I've spent about 3 grand in gear alone. The reason why it is 4 years instead of 4 months is because i started playing when I was nine lol

But when you think about it.. it does add up pretty fast

I feel your pain. There is so much that I want/need to get but I have to do it a little at a time because it's so expensive. I've spent over 600 in the last 3-4 months it just adds up so fast. Once I get my cyclone upgraded (since my ratchet crapped out on me) I'm probably done spending for a little while. I am paying for my wife's grad school so that's kind of expensive but hopefully when she gets finished she can buy me more paintball gear

Man, whenever I start shopping for paintball stuff I too get carried away. Like today my friend was placing an order off zephrpaintball and asked if I needed anything. One thing led to another and I ended up spending $100 on a new harness pack, CP on/off, virtue crown, kingman fill nipple and CP thread protector. God this sport is expensive but just so addicting...

Try Ebay for some better deals, and you might be able to get an additional discount code for RAP4 from that thread with the discount codes in it, in the Merchant's Corner or somewhere around there I believe.

Well, like I said 98% is for her. I bought a Land Warrior vest (was new) off TomQ but t was only the vest.

Since she'll need the pouches, this is what I planned on getting for her:

• 4-pod rack for her back
• two, 2-pod pouches for her front
• medic pouch (for her "girlie" things)
• knee and elbow pads
• SOF tactical gloves
• shirt/jacket
• STU Tactical web belt
• hydration bladder (this vest has the zipper on the back)
• horizontal tank holder
• back patch that says 'LIL DRUID
• 10 new pods
• radio pouch

What I got for me is:

• new knee/elbow pads
• horizontal tank pouch
• two, 2-pod pouches for my belt
• SOF Tactical gloves
• 10 new pods
• Back patch that says "DRUID"

and.......::drum roll::

• The Land Warrior camera system

All of the pouches are in their rendition of MARPAT.

Other things I will have to get are spare mask lenses for her, an electro-pneumatic marker (likely an Ion XE), HPA tank and good boots. I also have to get 2 new radios and throat mics for us.

In all honesty, I look at it like this...she's a great kid. She is superiorly smart in school, has a fantastic disposition and is just a pleasure to be around. If my children act like ^^ that, I have absolutely NO problem dumping all kinds of money into something they want to do. She loves to play paintball and is DYING to go. I'd rather spend the money into something they enjoy doing, than pay for bail, restitution or legal fees . It's a "reward system" that I have found that works very well. They work hard and do their best, I get them the things they enjoy doing....but they have to do the work FIRST. She's the epitome of what every parent wants in a child, how can I say no?
...and now that she's entering the "little hottie" stage, I have to carry more gear to fend off all you ravenous wolves....

So you see, I really don't mind spending the money...I just choked on my coffee when I hit "Calculate Order"......lol....

Theres always something else,something more you want no matter what. Even off i had all the money in the world id never stop buying and buying. Jersey,pants,barrel,new asa,ul frame,clamping feedneck,metal backcap,dynasty dysected dvd. Ive bought two of these today, barrel and feedneck thats 113$ right there. After i get all that ^. Then its elbow knee pads, tank cover,thread savers,fill nipple protector thing. Someone stop me. Im 16 and i work full time in the summer. Ive worked every week since school ended and i have like 300 dollars to my name. Dont do the math for me on how much i spent. Just got a new gun,tank, and loader..
But i love it, do good in school, dont do anything bad.
My new thing to say is it could be my bail money instead thanks for the line druid.

I just dropped $750 on a gun alone......

Add in the vlocity. Shhhh. i hear ali walking up the steps. Hahaha.
