I started to put an order together from RAP4 (sponsored by them) for 09's OK DDay for myself (not so much for me though) and my daughter.....

WITH my discount it comes to $559.88!!

...and I didn't even buy any markers or another vest/pouch system like I want!!! This is all "gear" related for her...pods (20 - we both need new ones), vest pouches, knee/elbow pads, gloves...all the stuff she'll need for the game (but like I said, some stuff for me too)....

My wife's gonna have a poop hemorrhage when I make that order...lol...

Now I also want to get her an Ion XE and at least a 68/45.....so add that to the pile too...lol.

I've already got dibs on half my income tax return in January (which is substantial, considering how I have my deductions set) So I'm not worried that I won't have plenty for gear + trip...I'm just taken aback and ranting on how much this is going to cost me...lol....

Make several smaller purchases...it doesn't hurt as much, lol. Especially when the SO sees it.

Between buying a new X7 and other things from Prophet and the box of goodies I got yesterday from AirHog {insert evil laugh here}, I really don't want to add up how much I've spent in the past few months alone. I'd probably cry...

Although he is playing with me now, my son will be not be old enough for Dday until 2010. I am already planning for that, lol. So, I definitely feel your pain, brother!

But like I said to my GF and other friends... all guys need there little ''toys'' and we all need somewhere to spend our money.. somme people it's golf.. others hockey.. others video games.. computers... cars..

I know I spend alot of money on buying another gun and parts and this and that... but you know.. I love the sport And I feel happy about it haha

Same here. I've spent a lot in the past year. I've been through several markers, some of which got sold only months after buying them. But I don't regret anything, you've got to try the stuff on the field to see what you like and what you don't.

Besides, spending cash on a sport you love is a fun thing. The dollar amount becomes secondary after a while. It might be better off for our own mental health! :P
