Basically I'm running out of ideas for stuff to make. I was thinking of a map case. Anyone have pics of a design or ideas. I'm not a scenario player, so I really don't carry this kind of stuff onto the field with me. How big is the case that most of you carry? Does it fold into quarters? Input is needed for this ideas and others.

i use the one on my broadsword vest. it's about 2" from right to left and 3 1/2" from top to bottom. it zippers closed so it is a pocket also. i usually have a map printed from the computer, so i can change the size.

Do you have pics? Only map case I have was from my ARMY days. It rolled up.

i said it zippered, that was actually the pocket behind it. i guess it's a map pouch, not a case.

I've got one, not sure who it's made by. It's got an ID flip open section, and then a larger map section that flips open, all velcro. Then there's a large zipper pouch under it all. I'm taking some pictures in a few minutes, and then I will update this post.

I've decided that it's probably specops, and obviously for a MOLLE style vest.
