Yeah I forgot to take the grill gaurd for winter out when summer came and it overheated one day when the temp was really hot so I had to pull over on the freeway and take it off. Do you have the 360 ci or the smaller, i think it is like 316 or something, mabye even smaller than that..
We have the 5.2 which is 317. She still gets up and goes though. I too have a lead foot, so have had to learn to let it build speed unless I really need to get going fast.

ADDED: Heck 5.7 is only 347 ci. You have a 5.9? I thought Dodge only went with a diesel with that number? Or of course it may be marketing numbers… the 5.0 Mustang was actually not 5.0 but a tad lower. What does the sticker under your hood say for liters?
(ADDED more.... yes they have a 5.9 as well)

Nope, we only have the 3.8 V6 with some mods. Same style, same ride, a bit easier at the pump.

Re: what do you drive? (56k will = death here)

2000 Dodge Stratus. Needs more cowbell. I want a damn truck, but I bought this car direct from the factory while I was in Germany in late 99 and brought it back to the states with me. I don't have the heart to trade it in or sell it. Its still a great car and runs great. Other then a few bumps and scrapes, its as good as when I first got it (well as good as 56k miles can make a car). I still baby the damn thing. For the rough roads, I use the family van (Kia Sedona), much to the dismay of my wife. haha.

Its sole purpose was and is to haul these around:

My 1996 Lincoln Town Car Executive . . . a.k.a. "The General."

My first car, bought it a little over two years ago. After I got it, I spent most of my savings fixing it up (air suspension was the big expense). The only "extra" things I've done so far are the rear license plate cover and the white-wall tires. My friends think I'm their personal chauffeur

Re: what do you drive? (56k will = death here)

My cars:
DD is a 2005 Chevrolet Aveo...gets 35 mpg which is the entire reason I own it cause my baby is a 1971 Chevrolet Corvette 454 Drop-Top with factory A\C. Can't post any pictures at the moment cause my external hard drive with all my pictures on it got stolen, but I've got some work to do this weekend so I'll snap a few more pictures. Yeah the vette gets maybe 10 mpg if I'm nice to it on the highway, when I press the loud pedal...about 1.25gpm and no thats not a typo.

Here's my truck. 96 Ford Ranger Splash. Not bad looking for being 10 years old now.
