Hey, I was im in the same boat you are. I spend money that i dont have on paintball because I think/want all this stuff etc.... So in total iv probably spent 3 grand on markers, and acessories, and probably 1 grand on paint

But You know what I dont have any of it anymore Cept for my a5 which was a gift and stuff i recently bought, so people might say wow what a waste of cash, but I learned ALOT and I do mean ALOT of stuff about the paintball world. Also the most important thing is the memories etc.... So when im an old man one day Ill look back on those day as say what a great time I had with good people.

I did the same thing with my rc trucks yeah thats trucks. got one for me and about a grand later got 3 more [for my 2 boys] now it's starting all over again with paintball one for me and 3 more for the boys heeeellllppp!!!!!

I've been fortunate in that I've been able to get a lot of my gear for "free." I work in IT, and I frequently get to take online IT surveys that pay me cash. I also joined an online "points" program that earns me gift cards and such. I've probably gotten about $300 worth of gear this way. I probably shouldn't mention these programs directly here, but if you PM me, I can give you the info. Nothing shady about them, trust me.

Despite this, I still spend enough of my regular income on PB stuff, much to my wife's chagrin. I buy something and I think to myself "I'm all set; don't need anything else." HA! Something else soon comes along. Or one purchase just leads to another "need." HELP!

lol. my dad complains when he goes w/ me and i spend $35 on a case of paint. then i had to remind him that he spends like 5 times that amount on a gallon of primer, and just sands most of it off the car anyway....

I do agree though- you cant get out of it, Your only hope is to try and control it. Or be like me and only make enough money to survive, that way you dont have any extra to spend on paintball. Sometimes, i wll pick paintball over survival, though...
