Re: Military Service

US Navy here. I was stationed in Roosevelt Roads PR back in 1993 w S.T./UDT 6. Trained with them for a while as well. Stood in my rate with intentions of going to BUDS. Passed all my tests prior. Decided to get out once my term was up.

Looking back good and hard times, those were certianly a highlight, saw and learned alot.

Well i would like to be a 45Bravo in the Army but i have been strugling with my weight over the past 2 years. I am 5-10.5 and weight 275 right now. I made it down to 258 over the summer but cant loose any more and its not enough to even be let into the physical test
I have many friends from highscool in right now.
One buddy joined the marine recon. in basic now and then has 2 years of training ahead of him
The other is in the army...11x i think. He is going for ranger.

God I miss the rifle/bayonet training.. that was really fun. Few things are as unnerving as hearing the order to fix bayonet

Re: Military Service

Yeah, the bayonet training was a lot of fun. Did you have the tires or the little rubber guys? We had the little rubber guys. My bayonet kept getting stuck in their chest cavity, lol... it was hard to get out.
