Thanks guys! you're really helping out my attitude towards to whole thing! I was so bummed out when she marked the box... Then she said: "You can go on to better things, right? Go to school." I was bawling at the time (yes, i was! and not ashamed to say so! lol) but all I wanted to say was: "Lady, that WAS college you just marked off on..."

Yea, I had to have my hand X-Rayed a lot, talked to like 8 doctors down there. It was a hassle lol but I finally got in, a little later then I had wanted to, I'm only at my 18 month mark and I should've been in for 26 months by now but a delay is a delay and it's what you come to expect in the miitary.

lets see, now im army reserve 92R, in the 529th quartermasters unit. doing my reserve duty right now in fort valley, Ga. till April 14, 2009 when i finally go to BMT, then AIT which together is 27 weeks long! the i go to GMC(Georgia Military Colledge) for two years to get my bachalores (sp i no) in criminal justice, then go active where they'll put me in 11X which is a specialized infintry unit, then i will work my way to airborne ranger! so thats my future in a nutshell!!

Going to join the army next year when im a senior in high school..hopefully follow in my brothers foot steps and become a ranger..he is in the 75th Ranger Regiment....I'm looking into the MI field when i join

They recruit guys for regiment right out of the school house in Huachuca now. If you're high speed enough they'll send u to Airborne and then RIP immediately following graduation. Being MI in a Ranger Bat isn't really being a "Ranger" though, you're doing the same job as any MI guy outside of Bat, just wearing a tan beret to work.
