| New to the Forum and Scenario...Help me out :) Hey guys, like the title says, Im new to the forum and want to get into woodsball. Especially because speedball season is over, and I just dont wanna stop playing. Here where I live in palmdale, CA I've met lots of cool woodsballers and they've convinced me to try out the Milsim world. Problem is I dont have any woodsball gear, Ive got tons of speedball gear and markers, but no woodsball stuff. I know I can use my speedball gear but I'd rather dress the part and go Milsim'd out, BDU's and ALL. I've been thinking about going with the TM7 or MP5 X-7, I wanna keep the Milsim marker as small as possible, and someone told me that the TM7 would fit me best since im used to small electros. Any advise will be much appreciated. Im also trying to gain points and stuff, cause when I gain privilege I will be posting some speedball stuff up on b/s/t and see if anyone would be willing to trade...Thanks for your time. Here is some of the stuff I own or have owned in the passed. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Yes I owned him..lol![]() |

| Re: New to the Forum and Scenario...Help me out :) Agree, if you really get into scenario/woodsball, you will find stuff to your liking, I see people using all kinds of speedball guns out on the field. As long as it shoots a .68 ball, its all good. Personally I would choose something the least flashy/reflective. Gear - Get some BDU's from an army surplus or buy a vest. I like having the bottle off gun for crawling around. Need something to carry the balls around, but you already have a pack from speedball so thats not a big need. Honestly, you are already good to go, I see guys out their in full speedball dress. I love to see them out in the woods - they make easy targets but starting out, just tone it down with some camo and you are good to go.

| Re: New to the Forum and Scenario...Help me out :) Thanks guys, but that wasnt the answer I was looking for, come on I need an excuse to buy new gear LOL Like I said I know I can use my own gear, but I want to build me a Milsim marker and dress the part. Its alot more fun playing a scenario game, when your milsim'd, cause it feels more realistic, Ive even thinking about buying me a swat helmet and putting a camo cover on it....Thanks! |

| Re: New to the Forum and Scenario...Help me out :) TM-7s are cool, i've never used one. i've found my A5 to be reliable, performs well enough for me, and does a great job all around. since it hasn't been said, "Washer first, then o-ring, tombstone holds it in place." if you don't know what i mean, you will if you get an A5. i've never used an X7 but they're just as good. i don't know how you play speedball, but i find bushball/milsim/scenario puts more emphasis on accuracy and less on laying paint, unless you happen to play the role of heavy rifleman or fire support ![]()

| Re: New to the Forum and Scenario...Help me out :) well if you got money to burn (I was going off the "I'm on a budget" stance).... Take your Classic mag and throw a milsim body and X-Valve on it. Get/build a pneumag setup or EMag frame for it. Get a 1-point sling for the marker-to-epaulet attachment. Get a tac 10 vest. Get a "medium" tank holder. Get an old 114/45 and remote line. Military styled knee and elbow pads. Bandu or Shemagh. black Bates or Danner boots. A digital camo Save Phace mask. OD military style gloves.

| Re: New to the Forum and Scenario...Help me out :) If you REALLY want to spend money, here's my suggested list: -Get an A-5. Go look at our photo galleries and pick a style that you want. With the right upgrades, you will be able to lay down some serious paint AND have a milsim look. -Look in your local surplus store for camo clothing. If there is nothing you like there, go to BDU.COM - Military Uniforms & Tactical Clothing by Propper -you'll need some combat boots. Just go with what druid suggested, I don't know which brands are the best. -Vest -A mask that isn't bright and flashy -SHEMAGH but yeah, if you want to spend money go spend a while exploring OPSGEAR
