Phase 2:

Moved the laser to the bottom where I can push the on/off button with my knuckle.
Put the TAC light on the side.
Removed the A5a2 foregrip to make room for a rail extender.

So what you guys think so far?

9/15/08:
I actually took this puppy out speed balling yesterday. I removed the light & laser for simplicity's sake & was surprised about how well it was working considering the weight. I wasn't overly impressed with the accuracy but it's a 6" SMG barrel after all & it wasn't the freshest paint.

1 game I got 3 kills like it was nothing.
First guy came out & didn't see me so I fired... the paintball was almost to him then spiral down between his legs & hit the guy behind him. He freaked & started to run but I fired another shot as he was moving behind a wall & it hooked to the left around the corner & caught him on the side of his mask. Just after that I saw someone out the corner of my left eye so I turned & fired as he fired & my paintball took another left hand turn & dropped but caught him in the shin.

I like the leaf camo job.

I'm not really a fan of the UMP look, but i'd rate that.

I'd also do the trigger frame OD and leave just the safety, trigger and the AirH0g grip black. Just my 2c though.

I hadn't really thought about the trigger frame... thanks for the idea! the leaf camo didn't turn out exactly like I wanted but it's better than it could have turned out. The airh0g grip is actually OD... odd it didn't show up as well in the pic. oh well, lighting is funny like that.

I know what you mean about the UMP... I'm an H&K MP5 guy myself but I gave up on trying to get my perfect MP5 look. I actually got the UMP set-up from Ox up there. I had planned on parting most of it out to support a 552 Commando project, but decided I liked it too much to give up when I actually held it, lol.

I love what you've done with that UMP. Whats that ergonomic grip? where did you get it from? Looks very comfortable.

yup... OD green ergonomic grip. houses 2 AA batteries or 3 lithium, & the sides slide out to allow for sight pressure plates to slide in so they don't dangle out.

E(vil)bay for $19.59 shipped. I was looking at one of those fab Tactical vert foregrips but got tired of etting sniped so I just found a nice one on the BIN & paid a little more than I was wanting to but it had those nice extra features so it wasn't too bad in the end.
