| Re: new a5 with some upgrades i had my A-5 for like a month, and currently i have a 14inch progressive barrel, which i found real good, not too loud, pretty accurate, and i got it new for 40 canadian $.. i also have a car stock, a remote line, and a 45mm red dot... the next thing i'll try to buy is actually an R/T or an E-grip Nice starting mods, and go definetely with a new barrel, i got more or less a fifty percent more shots on target and a further efficacity (not a further range, but at a further distance, my shots will still be accurate.) btw, you could do the clicky pen spring mod, and the other q-tip thing, costs nothing, material easy to find, and works nice, especially if you have a r/T try looking on the forum for those easy mods read this, it'll help, and explain for the clicky spring...The Tippmann A-5 For Dummies + Some General Paintball Info

| Re: new a5 with some upgrades I would alter the air system so that your remote hooks up to an airthru stock, instead of the remote to tombstone arrangement. Get an X7 hopper too, lower profile and offset. Other than that, up to you. Internal polishing and TechT mods are a good idea, always.

| Re: new a5 with some upgrades Internal polishing removes the overspray from the factory painting process and gives a smoother inner surface for your rear bolt to slide along. This leads to less wear on the moving parts. Many people who do the mod report, among other things: Better gas efficiency Increased velocity Lessened recoil Smoother cocking
