Special Ops only sells the A-5 Dogleg as a kit that includes the horizontal foregrip; TIPP/SO - A-5 DOGLEG AIR-THRU STOCK KIT (RH)


I used it in the rain, and just after a thunder storm while crawling through the wet grass & I had no problems except a blurry dot. Using the blurry dot at distances under 50 feet wasn't a problem, but past 50 feet, was tricky getting good accuracy with the blurry dot.

Very nice setup...but the barrel with Apex tip seems a bit long, wouldn't you say?

The total length of the barrel is 15". I would have preferred a 10" barrel with the Apex Tip for a total length of 13", but Special Ops didn't sell a 10" barrel. The only shorter barrel they sell is the 4" and that was to short for me.

I have seen a 20" J&J with an Apex Tip, that looked absolutely ridiculous.

this is the exact setup i'm looking at, minus the APEX (for now). only problem. i'm lefty so i'm hunting for a LH Dogleg. also, wouldn't a offset hopper or offset adapter help with the sighting?

also would a proline pro connect adaptor be compatible with the dogleg airthru stock?

I do have the X7 Hopper for a clear sightline. I was using a Special Ops Hopper Offset, but I didn't like my tall profile & decided to go with the X7 Hopper.

I would assume that the proline pro connect adapter would work fine with a Dogleg stock because it had the same connector as any other Air-Thru stock.

That marker is the exact same as mine, minus i have a 14" PPS brass, and a different reddot. I must say that that reddot looks very cool and i might pick one up. Nice marker
