A5 Cushman M14

Well, I finally got it finished. Not really, the only other thing will be to either throw a 90 degree fitting for the remoteline or go crazy and reroute the air through the stock (not quite sure how I'm gonna do that one).

My review of Cushman:
I can't say much for their plastic kits other than the magazine is made out of plastic and its the only part of the kit that sucks. The seams are sloppy and its not going to hold up to mych abuse. It came much longer and I modified it to a short version. Their customer service was great and the product got to me in two days. The stock is solid and cut by them to fit. The routing work is a little sloppy, but no one sees it. The only problem I had was cleaning up a bit on the inside so the marker sat all the way in. All in all, its a great kit, and as you can see easily achieves the desired look. With a little touch up and dress up of your own, it can look pretty cool.

Peformance is an A5. You are getting a full body kit that pretty much does nothing for performance. But here is it:

Lapco suppressor
Opsgear fluted barrel
M14 kit
Polished internals
Squishy paddles
Techt ratchet (single fire only, so I'll put it in when it breaks)

Re: A5 Cushman M14

Great looking marker. It's too bad that you had to make it fit if it's designed for the A5. You've got a real looker in your hands there, I like it a lot.

Looks awesome. Is the body of it metal or plastic? You should paint it black Rep.

I was under the impression that it was wood, by the terms "routing", and information I've seen around the 'net.

Re: A5 Cushman M14

So the plastic mag was the only thing you weren't satisfied with. I wonder if a metal mag could be made ( I know it can, but how much would it cost?)

Re: A5 Cushman M14

Thanks guys...Yes, the stock is wood and the mag is better now that I cut it down. A real mag would work if I rerouted the airlines like specops a5a2...
