I use the marker in several different configurations (PSG-1, MP-5 and UMP). The RT works better with a double trigger. Good eyes on that one, I was thinking the same when I put it all together, but I was too lazy to change the trigger just for the picture.

I am still looking for a cheek rest and some other parts to complete the transformation. More pictures to come later.

Re: A-5 PSG-1 Sniper

a handrest for the grip would make its look very authentic.

Re: A-5 PSG-1 Sniper

Dude you did I really good job on this thing. I never thought of using a SAW stock for a PSG-1 set up, but it works almost perfectly. I think the grip will be the hardest thing to copy, though. you might want to check out some real shooting parst for rifle hand rests. But really, with a few more very cheap or at home mods, this thing could be the only good looking sniper marker at any field. Compare it to this picture.

Re: A-5 PSG-1 Sniper

I added the silencer on the barrel just for giggles, and it actually looks really hot. Still working on the grip and trying to find a cheek rest for the stock.

I have that exact picture of the PSG-1 and more on my desktop. I think its the coolest rifle next to the WA-2000, which will be my next project for the next A-5.
