So, despite being a tactics forum, there wasn't quite as much tactics as I hoped. Some friends and myself are looking at doing some tourny's occasionally but don't know much hardcore tactics for speed or x-ball. We're more comfortable clearing rooms than rushing inflatables ;-p.

What I'm asking is for those with more tourny experience, for instance marmaduke, could you give me a run down on some slightly advanced tactics for 3 or 5 man?

I dont have a lot of experince in speed ball but i do know its very fast. when working with a team run the tape lines keeping your eyes to the middle and across the field. You should be crossing up your fire and cutting off running lanes with ropes of paint. keep your eyes peeled and COMUNICATE with your team.

"this is how i went at it when i played the speed" i would work my way up the tape line (side line), and i would cover my buddies 11 to 1 o'clock and he would cover mine. that way he nor i would need to poke out to far to shoot anyone in front of us, as well as we were always crossing our fire when covering the other. we worried about our teamates getting rushed more then our selves, because as soon as you let your teamate go down someone is making thier way to your back side.
