definitely a kill. If it breaks you're out. I only play in the woods with friends (two different groups) and all would agree. Whether you throw the ball or slap it on their back and it breaks that is a kill.

I almost got out by someone smashing it on my shoulder because his gun broke in game and I came up on him before he could fix it. He jumped up and as I shot he tried smashing it on my shoulder, it didn't break though. Great fun! I know, that's not a story I should brag about though lol

I've done it. I was playing with a friend when he did it. It's a rush and it's definitely a legal play. Your effective throwing range is so much shorter than your marker - if someone can get close enough to you that a thrown ball breaks on you, more power to him!

Its legal. Think of Saving Private Ryan, when they picked up the Mortar rounds and started throwing them at the germans. That could actually happen. Just because a round isn't in the gun doesn't mean you can't "Improvise, Adapt, and Overcome" the situation.

IMO... he shouldnt be called out.

The only reason I would call him out, personally, is becuse of the sheer hilarity of the situation. But realistically, go to the store, buy a box of ammo and throw a cartridge, spent or not, at someone... they arent going to die LOL.

As far as "Saving Private Ryan" goes... those were mortars... they explode on impact with a hard surface... bullets, on the other hand, do not.

Now, if it were my own private game between friends and I. I'm sure we'd call him/her out, due to the fact that if you're actually in range of someone throwing a paintball that has the force to still break... you should be out anyway. HAHA

I would say no. If i threw a live bullet with my hand and hit someone they wouldnt die. Unless they got that paint from the ground, put it in there hopper and shot it then yes, it counts.
