Re: Is it a legal kill?

If you throw a paint grenade at him and gets marked, he is out

If you throw a single paintball at him and gets marked, he is out.

Their is no rule on what type of paint can be thrown at someone. The only difference between throwing a paint grenade and throwing a paintball at someone is the amount of paint they will get on them.

In my opinion: "If you get marked, you're out."

Re: Is it a legal kill?

the typical rules state that of someone is marked with paint & the spot is larger than a nickel (isn't it?) they are out... none of the rules I've dealt with specifically say it has to be shot from a marker.

& on a real battlefield you can't throw a spent round... but you can stab someone with empty brass, lol.

Re: Is it a legal kill?

If we're playing in the woods with friends I highly doubt anyone here would play by such formal (and tourney) PSP rules. I agree with Party of A5, count it as a melee attack (but I do agree with NO PHYSICAL CONTACT). Another guy said "in battle you wouldn't throw a spent casing and kill someone", but you would take a knife to his side or big stick to his head
EDIT* Or YES, a grenade, good point DonkyKnocker
