| Re: Does anybody have bad tunnel vision while playing? Keep your head on a swivel. Keep practicing. It happens to me a lot too... Also, try to think things through if you can. Look at obstacles, think about ambushes, hiding players, etc. People will sometimes use themselves as bait for the other players on their team so they can make the move. The more you play and practice, the more it becomes like second nature. After you start making things second nature, the more you are able to learn and eventually you become a well-rounded player. |

| Re: Does anybody have bad tunnel vision while playing? Not really. I find the best way to beat it is to take a breath and look around you. Try not to get so caught up in the game. The more you play, the less this should happen to ya. Don't fix on just one opposing player - keep your eyes moving. It's funny, some guys I know that get so psyched up get this kinda thing happen to them. I'm usually the least psyched so I'm very easy-goin' and calm, even during a firefight. Just gotta chill, bro. ![]()

| Re: Does anybody have bad tunnel vision while playing? Tunnel vision is actually part of the body's response to stimulation of the sympathetic nervous system. It increases your visual acuity in a narrow field to better allow you to perceive any threats. It can be overcome to some extent by extensive training. Involving repeated exposure to highly stressful situations (and hopefully you don't develop PTSD in the process). Or you can train yourself to work around it's limitations, which is a bit easier to do. For the most part it involves moving your head around a lot... and constantly reminding yourself to do so...

| Re: Does anybody have bad tunnel vision while playing? Are you a runner or an ambusher? If you're a runner, its natural to get that tunnel vision as you move forward. Just run faster. ![]() If you're an ambusher, just move forward 2-5 steps at a time. That will give you time to stop and observe.

| Re: Does anybody have bad tunnel vision while playing? I normally don't get tunnel vision. What gets me out is moving into a position only to find myself exposed to someone's angle that I couldn't see before. |

| Re: Does anybody have bad tunnel vision while playing? Like it has been said, keep an open eye on your surroundings. Watch for someone flanking while you have an obvious target straight in front of you. This has happened to me too many times. |
