| Re: Night indoor CQB game - what to expect? Well from my experience night games are a lot of fun. Personally i wouldn't worry to much about trying to find a pair of nvgs for a CQB based game. For a point man it would make seance if he can make some high ground and just watch some movements *radio communications?* but for your personal kit what i have always found works well for me is get a tactical flashlight. mount it on your gun some where that you can quickly turn it on and off with out moving your hands from a fireing position. *remote on off switches work best* or just mount it that you can hit the on off switch with your finger. Now for tha most part keep your light off. this is very importan because a light obviously works 2 ways, it allows you to see, but also marks you as a target. So when your about to move in to a bunker on some one or through a building, switch your light on fast as you enter the door, *the briter the light the better* the hope is that u will illuminate your target and as well temperarily blind him *or just cause him to lose you in his sites* and take him out. I think you will find quiet quickly that your eyes will ajust to the darkness and its not as bad as it seems, very easy to see movement. As for as gear wear light, black stuff and make sure its scilent, so watch those pods you should be fine. shoot first ask questions later! have fun |

| Re: Night indoor CQB game - what to expect? Keep focused and avoid tunnel vision. CQB is more intense and requires you to be more aware of your surroundings. Never assume a room is cleared even if you already checked it out. People can move quickly and quietly around you in an office complex. A lot of cover and hiding spots. Watch your corners. Maybe bring with you a mirror to look around corners. and into cubicles. Work as a team especially in that environment so team members can watch your blind spots. You could also consider using glow sticks to light up a room if you do not want to rush into a dark room withjust a flashlight. The glow stick will allow more light spread so you are not scanning a room with a flashlight which may take a long time to do that to scan a room that is already lit. You may have to engage multiple targets at once in a room so the light will help you see the whole room as you enter. But be extremely careful on how you use it, otherwise it can may you an easy target as well. See if you can get a walk through before you start the game.

| Re: Night indoor CQB game - what to expect? Get your hands on a red coloured light. Dosen't really have to be special, could be something as simple as a flashlight with red cellophane over it. Red light will not screw up your "night eyes" like a normal flashlight will.

It'll illuminate just fine. You can get filters for all the common tac lights out there. You want red because it'll allow your eyes to readjust faster than with a white light. The white light will blind your opponent, but it'll also mess you up too. Plus, it's a bit less obvious... kinda...

| Re: Night indoor CQB game - what to expect? Some of the floors are illuminated, and I can't get my hands on a proper tac-light before the game. How would you stay alive if you absolutely HAD to go in blind.
