| Re: Tactics I don't know about winning everytime but it does work as long as you can get a few shots in between the walls of paint.

| Re: Tactics I've been playing almost exclusivly stock class for the last couple of years against whomever was on the other side of the field. Learning to "Snap shoot" well was what seemed to be my antidote for speedballers heavy on the trigger. Kind of along the lines of what xrated said above me, fast snap shots combined with the low profile of a phantom or now a TPX works really well. |

| Re: Tactics Snap shooting is a super important skill that is often overlooked and not practiced. play with a pistol for a while and you will be forced to learn quite quickly.

| Re: Tactics Pack light and move fast. I used to play with a stock-class Phantom at rec fields against the kids with the fancy electro-of-the-day markers. I find that not being where they expect is key. But if you like Tactics, speedball isn't really the place to be; get to the woods! |

| Re: Tactics I'm not one to hate on people but everything you just said is wrong about speedballers (directed at thread maker). Speedballers do not tend to look in only one direction as a good speedballer will be dealing with many targets at the same, thus having to avoid getting tunnel vision. Speedballers tend to be better players, regardless of the field. They are better because they use gear better suited for paintball and is capable of greater firing rates and is more consistent. They wear less gear so they can move faster. They play more often and thus are better at the things necessary to be good at paintball.
