Headbanger Multicam set up finally complete (almost)

With the arrival of my mask, I have finally completed my Multicam gear set up:

Equipment as follows (top to bottom, with links, if anyone is interested in where I got them):

Cap
Multicam Tactical cap

Mask
VForce Grill in Dual Olive Drab/Desert Tan

Vest
MOLLE Plate Carrier Vest in Multicam

Vest Accessories
Front
MOLLE Double 50 Round Pod Pouch
MOLLE Light Utility Pouch
OPSGEAR Paintball Pods - 50 Rounds (2)
Tactical Carabiner (thanks for the tip, Panda!) Note: I couldn't find the link for the one I purchased. It was only $4, not $13. Go to the checkout stand right away, the cheap carabiners are there.

Back
MOLLE Double 100 Round Pod Pouch
MOLLE CO2/Airtank pouch
OPSGEAR Paintball Pods - 100 Rounds (2)

Tactical Response Uniform
Tactical Response Shirt
Tactical Response Pants

Gloves

HellStorm Aviators in Coyote Tan

Boots
Guide Gear Desert Boots in Tan

I'm sure I could still use some accessories from Panda, for instance, to Multicamo my X7 Hopper and Remote Line. That purchase is coming soon!

It was really fun getting these together. It may have cost a few pennies, but we all know how we feel about that. I'm ready to rock and roll!

Re: Multicam set up finally complete (almost)

Looks great!

I would only substitute the mask with my custom painted Multicam mask, and use a Multicam Ban-Du instead of the cap.

Fantastic looking setup though.

(Oh... and tuck in those snakes! )

Hi Sam! Yeah...I couldn't wait! I just went ahead and bought a mask that was close enough and got a cap. I'm still interested in the Ban-du, though! Hope the move is going well.

No worries. You know where I am... sort of LOL... and I will be taking orders again probably by the first of next month.

The move.... oh my. It is going fine, just a lot of back and forth, and it is quite the drive between them. We move the furniture in on Saturday so we will officially be living there then I guess. But we will have lots more to take care of here at this place though.

Thanks for the thoughts though. I didn't intend to hijack your thread. LOL

Again.... GREAT looking gear. I love the vest too. But I will probably end up making my own out of Multicam to save some money. Your setup however is "kickin".

Yeah moving's a pain, but keep on keepin' on! It'll eventually get done.

I would certainly be eagerly anticipating what that looks like because you do excellent, excellent work! (And that quote is just one of those statements you would never hear me utter. )

Thanks for the comments!

Looks awesome, really tight setup! Mine looks really similar but in Cadpat, I even have the same mask!

Glad you know what pieces you're missing

Re: Multicam set up finally complete (almost)

Speaking of ban-dus... I purchased a CADPAT cap from ebay seller Karinvail:

It's a fantastic homemade product. Like Panda86's hopper and remote covers, Karin makes theses caps in the camo pattern of your choice, including multicam. Check out Camo Charlie's review of the product: http://www.a5og.net/product-reviews/...ball-caps.html

That's a great product! As you can see, the reverse ball cap has one shortcoming: my black hair and forehead sticking out of the large, gaping hole! Karin's caps have no holes. Great suggestion!

Re: Multicam set up finally complete (almost)

Also to note that Karin's caps are slightly padded, so direct headshots don't hurt as much

Yes, but Ban-Dus have a magical force field to prevent being hit.

(Ban-dus also offer back of neck AND side of neck protection as well as over the ears should the wearer choose to do so. Each product has positives and negatives and each person must weigh each so they get what they truly want/need. That is why so many products are out there. )
