| Re: new vest, od green or coyote tan? Do you have a link to it? How come you think it's not as good? The one I have is the Condor Plate Carrier in Multicam. I have to say it's pretty solid. After three trips out, it's still hasn't lost a stitch. If you let us know your parameters, I'm sure we can help you decide! Where do you play mostly?

| Re: new vest, od green or coyote tan? You know, I may be wrong, but the link you provided shows vests that are exactly the same as mine (below)! ![]() From your link: ![]() You can tell from the shoulder strap pads. If you can get a Multicam Plate Carrier Vest that cheaply, go for it...but beware, with the Plate Carrier, it's the pouches that'll likely rack up the costs for you. And from your picture, I don't think you'll have trouble blending in with Multicam. I mean, you're already wearing the pants and it looks great against all that green and brown. What do you think?

| Re: new vest, od green or coyote tan? You could just go OD and paint it up yourself. When I was in East timor I saw a lot of custom paint jobs on weapons but also the occasional piece of web gear. OI saw a lot more prior to 2000 before we were issued DPM Cordura stuff like this Image:NZ DPM with Webbing Gear.jpg - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia |
