a true sniper will not be located until it is too l8, so there for they can own anybody... (in real life, dunno about paintball) 1 sniper has been able to hold a whole army's at bay...

| Re: In adition to "Your Mil-sim role" a single sniper is a wise investment... but a sniper & his spotter are always welcome in my book

| Re: In adition to "Your Mil-sim role" Well i believe there are no snipers in paintball. I consider them to be marksman or sharpshooters. Those are the guys who have good barrels and are considerably talented at long balling. What is considered a paintball sniper in my book is an expert at recon and is also the reserve part of the team. I would generally expect them to coordinate flank with the entire team. Of course the team is not one big group, they break into squads. but if there is no proper commo, the sniper, or lonewolf is likely to get hit by friendly fire. On the whole team work is the only solid to win.

| Re: In adition to "Your Mil-sim role" while there is no paintball sniper in the long shot sense of the term, a snipers major role is as a scout, i believe that if someone is to play a scout/sniper role, communication is very important. having a hidden pair of eyes in the right spot on the field can be the difference between winning or loosing. |

| Re: In adition to "Your Mil-sim role" sniper or what ever position, you just radio back what you know. If you don't take risks playing paintball then its just not the same, lol. My team stays in constant communication, its the only way to work. |
