my current setup allows me to carry roughly 1000 rounds on me in pods, not including the 200 already in my hopper. But I usually don't play a "Support" role, occassionally I will, but I usualy tyr to stick to a rifleman type role, but if need be, I can lay down a heavy wall for a sustained time, I mainly worry more about running out of gas than paint, thats me though

Since paintball went semi auto to many people firing off to many rounds for no reason. I personally think that no mater role I was playing that I would finish the game with lots of paint left over.

I think thoes of us that grew up playing with stock pumps have a diferent opinion of "alot of paint" and how much it actualy takes to keep a players head down. For me and my stlye of play 400 is generaly plenty, but if you have to question how much you need and how much you would use, take more.

It comes down to your own stlye, abilities, and preferences. Always take more then you need.

honestly if your not trigger happy and are semi acurate you will only need and probly shoot off 200-300 a round, also the fact that if you are heavy on the trigger and dont have a big 3K HPA or semi big 4.5K tank then its pointless for you to carry much more then 800 rounds or so at any time cause you will run out of air before rounds. but its all up to your setup an play style

I have a vest that allows me to carry around 1000 rounds plus a hopper, but i usually shoot 200, MAYBE 400. Only once or twice have i got drawn into sucha huge firefight that i ran out of paint. I am very conservative with my paint, though, so for me 400 is enough for sure.

you need a lot mor then 400 i use 400 on a 5 min speed ball game if you in a skermish you will run out in mins.

If I am in a support role and my team gets hit, then 400 will not be enough. I usually take much more than that with me.

Our front runners don't take that much with them, but they know I'm right behid them with all the paint they need.
