| Re: Pistol Users I also have 2 PGP's. They are sweet shooting little markers. I love mine. They get as much use as they used to, but I take them out once in a while. One of my favorite guns of all time.

| Re: Pistol Users One of the reasons I modded my USP "Lil' Bit" into "Evil Bit" (link - TAG's USP modding - "Lil' Bit" turns evil !! )was to give her more options...but there's plenty of folks out there who do NOT like me running around with that on my hip !! You can change your "game look" instantly with a pistol - just put the A5 down and go light and go nuts. Also, when you're low on ammo, that's 10 shots just in case. --TAG-- |

| Re: Pistol Users My pistol has won a few close confrontations for me, when you are playing at a field with the 15-25ft "safety" ranges. Case study: Going around a corner inside a fort and running right into an opponent: Me: "Call out man!!!" as I point my old pro carbine at him. Him: "You call out!!!" Me: "No....You!!!!!" Him: "OK...how about we both call out and call it even" Me: I sling my pro-carbine down and pull out my zeus in one fluid motion, point it right at his head, probably accidently tapping on his mask with the barrel. "NO...THATS NOT GOOD ENOUGH, YOU CALL OUT!!!!!!!!!!!" Him: "i'm out...." Hangs head in shame. Me: Moved on to clear the fort of others, the ref that watched the exchange thanking me for not actually pistol whipping the poor guy as he laughs his butt off. This happened a few years ago, so my mind may have built up the exchange into quite the action film dramatization...it may belong in a Will Smith/Martin Lawrence movie, but this is how I remember it. I've used the thing in confined spaces to call out at least 10 people throughout the years without firing a single shot... I guess it just looks more intimidating up close or something. As for actual field performance, its been so/so. It has saved my behind a few times, and when I whip it out at the wrong moment, has gotten me tagged just as often, for running out of paint. Its mostly just comforting to have an extra tool to use in dire situations. |

| Re: Pistol Users MrChaseHughes I never tire of a good Bill Shatner video. The man is my hero =] On topic, I've wielded a pistol or two recently and it's an awesome experience. The first time was about a year an a half ago, a friend from out of town was visiting and we went to the field nearby to play a bit. Unfortunately there weren't many people out there because of the poor weather (Okies being scared by the weather? Unheardof.) There were a few kids around though, and they challenged us to a 2-on-2. My friend had to use one of the rentals because for some reason my Pro/Carb wasn't holding air, and I used my Tac-8. So we played a few games and it was fun and all, until the last game. I ran the field to find both kids holed up behind their farthest bunker. I shouted for them to surrender and they both popped me x.x Fun time anyway though. Last time I took my PGP out (before the K-frame) and I was running and dodging and crawling around like some kind of wildthing beast. The lighter loadout of a pistol setup really lends the operator a lot more flexibility to get out in the stuff!
