Re: Pistol Users

ALL THE TIME!!! There are times you'll see my a5 sticking out one side of a tree and my arm holding the PGP to the other side. Also if you hear a PsST you know i just disconnected my a5 pro connect and am about to rush a bunker.

I love setting my a5 up behind some cover and then leaving it there and running to another place near by with my pgp for the first contact. then when they see a guy run to a bunker with only a pgp, they think oh easy kill. then when they get up close, up come a rip roaring A5. Bwahahah! EAT MY PAINT! Or sometimes Ive been known to put the barrel so its very visible to the enemy and use it as a lure. Best surrender i got was when i put my a5 on a rock wall so it looked like i was poking threw the wall, and i set up about 40 feet further down range. (right where i would be if i was to shoot back at the rock wall where my a5 was) and within minutes a guy came right next to me set up and started shooting at my a5, he didn't see me sitting in the bush inches away. I literally extended my arm and put the pgp to his temple. in side his mask was !

And when i play at the South Windham field that a bunch of my friends frequent we mandated that there must be at least 1 pump pistol match.

Re: Pistol Users

MrChaseHughes is right use of a pistol in a game (for me at least) is a must as I only have a sixty round hopper and being cought reloading in a heavy fire fight makes you an easy target ,but with my tiberius you get two to the face if you rush me and building and room clearing so easy with a pistol.

Re: Pistol Users

In my case I use my trusty A5 but also care dual delta.68's when I ran out of paint in the a5 I turn to delta mode, haha. Not only that but it's also very handy when you are entering buildings to point your a5 at 12 a clock and your pistol from your 1 entering and turning to your 3. Or in such a case that you are being ambushed you can take more than a few tangos in CQC.

Re: Pistol Users

I am one of the few that goes without one on my team. I should be picking one up in Feb 2009ish. As of right now 3 guys I can think of carry them for backup DURING a firefight or when they get a main gun hit in a scenario that involves engineers.

The Tac8 is hefty but very accurate.

Re: Pistol Users

I love running with just a pistol. That is what I use for most night games. I have even gone out at night with just my rubber knife.

Re: Pistol Users

I use my TAG8 as a back-up to my MILSIG's, nothing faster than a NY Reload.
Run the primary empty, let it hang off the sling, pull the TAG.

Re: Pistol Users

I'm glad to hear these responces, somtimes I think I'm the only guy in the state that will play with a PGP. Heck I've only run into 2 players outside my group of friends that play pump and only one of the two with a stock pump. Everyone I run into with a tac-8 just has it to look cool and don't want to play when I sugest we only use pistols. Alot of rich spoiled kids.

Re: Pistol Users

would it still count as a "Pistol" if it was a T9 set up as a pistol, with a hopper adapter and remote air?
If i had a pistol, i would probably use it. Why else would i buy it?
