Re: What whould tou do?

I say get a couple of people to run up to the cover and engage them. Then the rest of the squad should flank on both sides. If that fails then I suppose you could look for a rule that they broke but that is a cheap way to win.

Recruit: Sir, why are we fighting these guys?
Zapp: They stand for everything we don't... Plus, they said you guys were jerks.

Re: What would you do?

Definitely try to flank them. I would have my squad put some cover fire down for me since more then likely they won't know how to fight in a close combat situation. I would prob bring one or two at the most with me depending on how many people we had. I would then just try to clear the building.

Re: What would you do?

well, lets see, they are shooting at you from 60 meters away, the average effective range of a rental marker is a rough 30 meters, if there is little cover (and depending how many members i have under my command) but first thing is first, find cover, organize the members into even teams, then simple, one team moves while the other covers, first moving frontal, then once getting closer one squad swinging around the left, the other on the right until you get close enough to either make them forfeit or take them out in close quarter combat, but then again, it all comes down to how many team members i have under me, so in a way, i vote for flank (closest to this fire movement) by the way, this is an Australian army tactic, don't know if you guys in the states have it the same way or similar

Re: What would you do?

Yup, I'd say it's pretty standard. Alpha team moves while bravo lays down covering fire. Once in place, Alpha team starts laying cover fire for Bravo team to move.

I recall going over the drill in Basic training...

Of course, after that, I was a total REMF, so such things became little more than "blocks of instruction" during classroom sessions, complete with powerpoint slides, bullet points, and maybe even a couple of audio clips.

Oh yeah... I was hardcore.

Noobs or not never move trough the open in force.

Re: What would you do?

If they are using standard rentals, then I have a range advantage. I get close enough so I can hit them with my Apex and my boys can reach them with their flatlines. We then eliminate them without any fear of getting hit ourselves.
