| Re: You are the last man on the team Ya I did that to. Several years ago I was playing with a buch of newbes in a dence woodland field. To make it more interesting I used My old P68 (kind of like a PGP but longer and with adjustable velocity). First game I eliminated 3 or 4 of the 15 players on the oposite team, but man they destroyed my team. With somthig like 8 on 1 and all I had was a stock pump, I had to take cover for a good 1min and let thigs settel befor I could begin stalking again. But by this time the ref stopped the game and was redividing the teams. He didn't think I was still out there. To this day I wish they would have continued it. It would have been one hell of a challenge, and one way or another, I would have loved to see what would have happened

| Re: You are the last man on the team We play a lot of Outlaw ball in the mountains around here. Sometimes there are only 5 or 6 of us. We will play a game were 1 verse the other 4 0r 5. The object is that the 1 gets a 10 minute head start then the others have to go find him or capture him. About 25% of the time the team of 1 will win. We think it’s a lot of fun being the team of 1. It’s best to try to pick off the other players one by one. |

| Re: You are the last man on the team I have this thing about finding that spot that is a bad position for a player but a great asset to the team. Not really all that good at killing but i can stay alive a for an ungodly long time usually crouching in a mixed state of fear and heroic determination (being fat also helps in the staying alive.) Unfortunately an awesome defense doesn't really help when surrounded and pushing a bad position. |

| Re: You are the last man on the team Hold as long as you can - your commander may need the intel on the OPFOR's movement, and you can try to stay until your buddies come back. But if all else fails, I'm going to ground - COME TRY TO GET ME. I may go out, but you're gonna have to EARN that - no freebies!! --TAG-- (PS - that happened to me at Tactical in Harwood TX in January at the 'Blackhawk Down' game. I was a Skinny and got surrounded in one of the 2-story buildings- for 2 1/2 hours. Nobody on the OPFOR knew I was upstairs after I got lost in the confusion. But when they did try to come upstairs, I barrel-tagged 9 with my USP pistol and nailed 4 with quick shots. I finally got it in the goggs from a 1st-game player. I called time-out and walked down to congratulate him...to the amazed looks of the 30 or so Rangers who had taken up defensive positions in the building. The moral of the story? >>> Make their uncertainty about who's left work for you. It's one of your best tactics in that kind of situation. Mix up your shots. Use different angles. Or fire then move to shoot from somewhere else. Keep them guessing so they have to slow down and actively clear the area. That can buy you time. make that time work for you, not them...) |
